Dave is a former member of former UK Blues Band of the Year The Producers. “Let’s face it, in adding the quality of his original material the man is a downright genius” Blues In Britain. In 2024, Dave was nominated for a UK Blues Award.
Joining Dave in this lineup is Lucy Piper on drums "one of the UK's leading blues drummers" The Guardian. In 2019 and 2020 Lucy worked with double Grammy Award winning label Ruf Records on their annual 'Blues Caravan'. She also appeared on Ryan Perry's album High Risk, Low Reward which was nominated for a Blues Music Award 2020. Universally recognised as the highest award in blues music.
Lucy and Dave have been performing regularly together since 2022 with many appearances at various festivals and art centres. Last year performances included Gloucester Blues Festival, and Congleton Jazz & Blues Festival, Cheshire, as well as making their first appearance at a major festival, at Wilderness Festival, Oxfordshire.
They have appeared for four years running at The Sidmouth International Jazz & Blues Festival, Devon. Other events in the diary for this year include York Blues Festival, Upton Blues Festival, The Great Rhythm & Blues Festival, Lancashire, and many others!
